payments to the state/ payment amounts by Alex on 2/2/2010 10:13:57 PM

Message payments to the state/ payment amounts was posted by Alex, on 2/2/2010 10:13:57 PM.

Divorced my husband when our daughter was 2. He has VERY limited c9ontact with her. He has been to jail for writing bad checks and has a hard time keeping a job. He has asked me to take payments directly from him, which I have refused for 2 reasons. The obvious check issue and that he will not have the state recording his payments allowing me to tell the courts he has not paid if I choose to do so. I feel it is for his protection, but he will not believe me, and I have no doocumentation as to weather this is true. It is simply my understanding. Also, he is only required to pay 175 if he supplies medical insurance, which he has not. Otherwise his payment for one child is 225. Where can I find proof that he should make payments to the court to protect him? Also, what is the average support amout for one child in WA state?
